Mrs. Lucinda McCLAIN, 82, who had resided for the past 3 years with Mr. and Mrs. Bert PERKINS of West of Alamo died at 9:10 o''clock Friday night at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. She had been seriously ill 10 days and her death was due to complications Born Feb 29, 1864 in Parke County, the deceased was the daughter of James and Sarah McMAINS. She was married in 1883 to Frank McClain, who died in 1945. Surviving are one brother, Jesse McMains of near Alamo and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Perkins at whose home she died. Funeral services were conducted at 2 Sunday afternoon at the Machledt & Son Funeral Home in Waveland in charge of Rev. Cornelius Aihart. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
